Wheelchair Sports for Kids Inc is a start up not for profit sporting club which aims to open up access to sport for children who require or would benefit from utilising a wheelchair to access equitable sports.
Our mission is to empower children through the transformative power of sports. Through adapted sports programs, we aim to enhance physical well-being, build self-confidence, and forge lasting connections among young participants. Our dedicated team is passionate about breaking barriers and promoting a sense of belonging, ensuring that every child experiences the thrill of achievement. Wheelchair Sports for Kids Newcastle is more than a program; it's a catalyst for inspiring possibilities and nurturing the spirit of limitless potential in every child.
Funds raised will aid us in the purchase of insurance, equipment, court hire fees and eventually additional chairs to get children who want to get involved in wheelchair sports but don't have access to a wheelchair including the friends and family of wheelchair users.
