This is a Bolsta Shared Raffle Campaign Fundraiser

Our Story

Different Strokes Dragon Boat Club promotes and encourages social inclusion and diversity through participation in sporting activity for health, fitness, friendship  and fun. We are a sporting club for the LGBTQIA+ community, our friends and families.  We also pride ourselves on a fierce competitive spirit which has enabled us to achieve major success in state and national regattas over a long time now. In 2024 we have an opportunity to send crews to Italy to compete in the World Club Crew Championships to he held in Ravenna Italy in September. So our journey we are on now is a Road to Ravenna. Raising funds will help to support our paddlers in this event. But we also focus on the needs of all paddlers regardless of skill or level of participation so our fundraising will also provide equipment, amenities, racing fees and merchandise to support all paddlers achieve their goals. This year we also celebrate our 15th anniversary as a dragon boat club  and currently have around 110 members who regularly train on Blackwattle Bay in Pyrmont and race in regattas both within NSW and around Australia each year.
